From my personal experience: No matter how hard it is, no matter the size of the army this world sends your way, no matter the circumstance or situation, ...you MUST be obedient and submit to what GOD says, not the world, not well meaning friends or family members, no NOTHING.
Thank them for their opinion, but no one can walk in your shoes, no one knows what God wants for you, no one ... if you can't ignore what they're telling you, then simply walk away...you're not quitting them, you're just not exposing yourself to their opinion. And for heaven's sakes, never let anyone tell you that hope and faith in any area is denial...
Stay optimistic, it's one of our greatest gifts to see the cup half full (Only GOD can empty that cup!)
