GOD'S NOT PART OF THE "ME" GENERATION

GOD'S NOT PART OF THE "ME" GENERATION -- Exodus 3:12 NIV

And God said, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt , you will worship God on this mountain."

If God did things the way that we do, when Moses said, "Who me?", God would have spent the next hour or two building up Moses' self-confidence. He would have gone into great detail, telling Moses how great he was and how much God believed in his capabilities. He would have given him a crash course in assertiveness, plus a few refreshers about positive thinking. But it should come as no surprise by now that God doesn't do things our way. When Moses expressed his doubt about his own capabilities, God simply said, "I will be with you." That's awesome! Think about it! God said, "I will be with you." He says the same thing to you and to me! Jesus said, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:20 NIV)

Take that into your heart! Believe it!! Just as God traveled right by Moses' side as he went into the frightening and dangerous assignment he had been given, so Jesus is right here with you, right now, and every moment of your life. Right here! And not just right by your side – but living IN you – 24/7/365… guiding you, loving you, caring for you, helping you. That is the most wonderful blessing any individual could have. You don't have to be capable to do the task... Jesus is right there, helping you along, making sure you accomplish His goals. As such, each and every thing you do, every day, should be dedicated to Him and to His glory. The blessings you receive will be overwhelming.

"If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 4:11 NIV
