I say POSSIBLE because one, you need to do 'mperks' AND receive their emails. This morning, my Meijer email subject line said: Get a free offer, just for you - so if you receive Meijer's emailings, then you need to look for that subject line.

I buy A LOT of bags of ice for the office (we're talking two or more times a week), so MY personal freebie to load to my mperk number was a free small bag of ice. PLUS there's a half dozen coupons for stuff you often buy, coupons you don't get in the newspaper!

We gave up TV in 2009 (as I've shared with you in the past) -  after two weeks of not having it, trust me, you do NOT miss it...except for the holiday cartoons, now THAT....I'm a softy for.

IF we want to watch anything mind numbing, binge worthy or just to take a break away from life, we DO watch free internet tv. I highly recommend the step away - if even for a little while.

Pitaya or Dragonfruit: This Year’s Trendiest New Fruit

If you’re new to pitaya, it’s a fruit native to Central and South America that’s now commonly grown in southeast Asia. Although it looks tropical, like something out of a rainforest, pitaya is actually the fruit of a kind of cactus and can grow in dry, desert regions.

Pitaya has a very subtle sweetness, similar to an earthy watermelon. White-fleshed pitaya is milder, while red-fleshed pitaya has a richer flavor. Pitaya grown in drier regions tends to be more sour. The flesh is juicy with crunchy, black seeds – very similar to kiwi in texture!
